Project Overview
Torrado Construction served as General Contractor for improvements to Glavin Recreation Center, part of Philadelphia’s continued investment in revitalizing neighborhood parks and recreation facilities.
The project combined improvements to the recreation building with substantial upgrades to the surrounding site. Torrado’s scope included accessible restroom improvements, new flooring, and HVAC work within the recreation center. Exterior improvements included new site walls, playground and sprayground improvements, a climbing wall, and additional site features.
Together, the improvements transformed both indoor and outdoor spaces, creating a more welcoming, accessible, and functional destination for recreation and community programming.
