Community College of Philadelphia’s Career & Advanced Technology Center was developed to expand access to hands-on education and career training in fields including advanced manufacturing, transportation technology, and healthcare.
As a masonry Trade Partner on the larger project, Torrado Construction contributed exterior block and masonry construction to the new educational facility. The scope required careful execution and coordination within a multi-trade construction environment while contributing to the distinctive exterior of the contemporary building.
The project combines an important educational mission with investment in West Philadelphia, creating modern spaces designed to connect students with skills, technology, and career opportunities.
The Career & Advanced Technology Center creates opportunities for future generations by connecting education with workforce readiness and skills development. Torrado’s masonry work contributed to a facility designed to help prepare students for in-demand careers while strengthening the region’s workforce and economic future.
